Cutting thin brass

I need to cut some very thin brass, about .2mm, to make a fancy monogram. Any ideas about the technique?

I use double-faced tape to adhere the brass to 1/8th inch ply and cut out the pattern using a #3 or #5 'Iron Man' blade from Mike Moorlach.

That's only about 0.008" thick. If it's soft brass, have you tried scissors?

There are some tight turns to be made so could be difficult with scissors.

How about an Exacto knife?

when cutting metal I always sandwich it between two thin pieces of wood and cut using a normal blade. It has worked with aluminum, steel and brass.
