This is my own design I just finished in late August.  It's the biggest piece I have ever done at 36" wide and about 18" tall.  22 different kinds of wood including the awesome piece of maple I found for the back piece.  Over 300 pieces went into this. I keep reaching for challenges, and this was definitely a stretch!  Thank you for letting me share.

For final sanding I mostly used an abrasive wheel (it has 180 grit sand paper interleaved with scotchbrite).  Alot of the pieces were just too small for me to hang to using a mop sander.   And to all of you---yes, working with a finished dimension of 36" is quite a stretch!  Thank you all for thoughts.
