finally finished

this was a gift to my brother in law. i made the frame out of pine, copied from a steve ramsey youtube video(with much trial and error). the scrolling is 1/4" oak from a steve good pattern. both are just clear coated. the backer is stained glass. glass cut easily going with the grain not so against the grain(i didn't know glass had a grain). i found for me it was easier to cut the glass to the size of the frame than it was to cut the frame to the size of the glass. any help in that area would be appreciated. now lets see if this works.

I like the idea of using the stained glass as a backboard. Must look great with the sun behind it.
