I read this e-mail that Steve put up on the blog. First of all, I really don't understand the reason behind the e-mail. Maybe I'm stupid. But when I read it I felt kind of sorry for the person that wrote it. It's not hard to understand how we feel about our Country. Everyone in the world knows that. I'm sure if the author had asked Steve to do a pattern for him, he would have. He went above and beyond to do one for me. And as far as where not doing extermely well in our Country. Well I guess thats true. If it was not for the Taliban, reeking havoc in New York, and BP polluting the Gulf, I guess we could be doing better. I'm not sorry for taking pride in where we live. My ancesters fought for the freedom that we enjoy today. What I am sorry for. There are boundries, and fences as you might call them. It seperates ideas, lifestyles, the freedom of movement. And thats a shame. I have never been to another country. I would like to someday. But for now, with statements like this. It's best to stay here. My family & I have the freedom of movement. We can travel anywhere in these 50 States. We don't need a passport to cross the street. We don't need mommy or daddy to hold our hands to go pee pee or poopy.
What I do love about this Country is that I can get on this site, and express my beliefs, my opinions, my ideas, and not worry about Big Brother coming to get me. I am sorry that you have to.
Steve. I don't know about everybody else. But, this is a soft place for me to land after a hard day at work. I love it here. I have met many new friends that share the same interests as myself. Having worked with the public for many years, one thing I have learned, is you can't please everybody. Do not try. You will go insane.
And to Mr. or Ms. Hateful E-Mail Person-Don't Tread on Us-EVER
Thank you
