Sharons Portrait
« on: September 01, 2013, 10:48:26 am »
Well after quite a wait I finally cut it, there were three excellent patterns to choose from, 1 by Mahendra, 1 by Old Crow (DonR) and one by EIEIO, I couldn't decide which pattern so I emailed a copy of each to my girlfriend and she picked the one by EIEIO. But Thanks still go to Don and Mahendra for their patterns,  I will be cutting both of those for myself. And of course a thank you to Ray for his pattern too. Here is the finished portrait, as usual all comments welcomed.

Well done!!!  It still amazes me how life-like portraits turn out.

All the great pattern makers on this forum deserve a lot of credit.

Ray, I showed her the picture today, she loves it , she thinks it's fantastic and asked me to pass on her thanks to all the pattern makers, and her appologies to the two (DonR and Mahendra) for not picking their patterns, but she added it wasn't an easy decision as they were all so good.

Hi Keefie, Sharon will be over the moon with that portrait. It's lovely, she deserves it for putting up with you. LOL.
