Survivor of the Boston Marathon bombing
« on: August 23, 2013, 12:29:37 pm »
A big thanks to RM Hayes and TD Painter for their help on making the portrait pattern I used making this project.
I used a combination of both of their patterns for the finished piece.

A group of fellow employees asked me to make something they could give this survivor of the Boston Marathon bombing when he retires, upon returning to California.

He is due to return sometime in September after spending over four months in a Boston hospital and a rehab facility where they, thankfully, saved both of his legs.

Al, that looks VERY nice, both the original pattern, the combination, and of course the cutting.   Well done!
