Hello from Central Virginia
« on: August 18, 2013, 10:48:23 am »
I started Scrolling a year ago, and started following this Forum shortly after that. I have posted a few times on the Coffee Pot and recognize several posters - Country Scroller (Dustin), EIEIO (Ray), wombatie (Marg), Keefie (Keith), Russ C, Julief (Julie) and others I can't recall. I have a number of Steve Good patterns. My main interest is making puzzles, especially custom made puzzles on 1/4" 5 ply Baltic Birch.

What a great hobbie!

Pat

It is a great hobby and has lots of variations. I haven't done much with puzzles, but I just bought some FD puzzle blades and plan to give it a try.

Hi Pat and welcome to the forum.  I'm Julie from Texas.  Glad to have you.  I make tons of puzzles.  Stand up puzzles, tray puzzles, puzzles from photos, I'm not picky - I love puzzles.  When my son in law was deployed, I made him a couple of puzzles of him and his daughter and him and his wife.  It caught on and all of a sudden, soldiers were sending me pictures of loved ones that they wanted on a puzzle.  I made quite a few.  It gave me great pleasure to send something that reminded them of home and gave them something to do.

Hi Pat, welcome to the forum, I'm Keith from Cornwall. Sorry for the late reply, been busy with an operation (going wrong lol)  then had all my family decend on me so I am just trying to catch up now .
