This is a project I will not make again. its 3/4 Whiteboard ( Yes Whiteboard I was wrong thinking it was washboard ) one section is 15 degree the other is 26 degree. Took way to long to sand and took way to much to figure out how to get it to look right and to work right since I didnt realize when you are cutting at an angle you cant really go at a sharp angle like the top and the bottom of the coffin. I plan on painting this black. Had to had carve a channel for the Hinge and its Epoxied in there. Btw this is My own Pattern.

That looks great!!!  I wouldn't put paint on it, but that is a personal thing - I like the looks of the grain.

Have you considered posting the pattern so we might give it a go? Please?

I am also curious as to the size of your project.

Thanks for sharing with us - it is a fine looking piece of work.

6 inches tall by 3 1/4 wide at the widest and I used 3/4 pieces of whiteboard but I sanded the top down removing probably 1/4 of it or more. And Yes I would gladly Post the Pattern. I did paint it and it warped the wood so sadly it doesnt close all the way now. ( though its a smallish Gap that people who arent perfectionists probably wont notice.

Finished it with Red Felt and Black Acrylic. It warped a little bit so I showed a photo of the front to show how much it warped. Really need to learn how to do frapping and find out where to get the stuff around here.
