Not a computer question but a phone question
« on: August 07, 2013, 01:43:11 am »
I have a Samsung Galaxy S111 (Android Phone) and I have Dropbox installed on it, so that when I take photos it automatically sends the photo over to my computer.  My problem is that the gallery on my phone keeps freezing.  My daughter as uninstalled Dropbox and then re installed it and it works fine for a day or so and then it freezes again.  Any suggestions?  And please don't make them to technical I am not that way inclined.  :D

Do a manual transfer periodically?

Oh, :-[ silly me.  They are all on the computer now, but there was less than 30 of them on the phone anyway, because I mainly use the camera when I want to take photos.  I only use the phone for what you would call incidentals and spare of the moment photos.

I didn't use dropbox, I always used the usb cable that came with my phone and uploaded them to PC myself, I never trust those apps or stuff that take a pic and it send it to the computer.

do you send by wifi or do you use 3G technology?
so, could it be any connection problems?

normally I would joke that if things freeze you put it in the sun ;)

No Marcel its not a connection problem. My gallery just freezes and you cant even see a photo. No one I know is having problems with Dropbox except me.  Story of my life.  So I have to remove Dropbox for the time being and so far have not had a problem with the gallery.
