There's a place in Solvang, CA.called "The Historical Research Center" and I had them do a search for our family name. This is the Crest they came up with and I made the pattern from it.

I used Cedar, Poplar, Aspen, and Purple Heart woods and painted the Blue and Yellow with acrylic paints.

Hey 92, I know Solvang very well! My wife and I have visited many times and my work takes me there often. I've learned to stay away from those Danish bakery's!

We try to stop there on our way to Morro Bay and Cayucos at least once a year.
