do with over 20 years of Wood magazine?  I have 2 totes full of these magazines. I was thinking of scanning the articles on to a external hard drive. It would be time consuming but might be worth it--any other ideas?????         Richard

I don't have an answer Richard, but if you went to the trouble of doing that, I'm pretty sure if you put them up for sale afterwards, (magazines, not discs) you would be well rewarded for your effort.

Be careful of copyright issues.  I don't think he magazine or the article authors would be happy with you copying their work and then selling it.  Anyway, why go to all the trouble to scan the material when you have the originals close at hand?

I have Workbench mags dating back to 1974, wouldn't get rid of them for anything, I do have my own little system of organization for them...well organization is a loose term.  Pete

You could see if you have any schools in the area that have woodworking programs. I have a pile of old woodworking magazines for my kids to read.

I have donated almost all my old woodworking and other magazines to nursing and assisted living homes. Men are stuck in those places with not much to keep them entertained, so appreciate them very much.

I go thru them first and scan any articles I may want for future use.
