Box for souvenirs
« on: June 24, 2013, 10:17:35 pm »
I'm making these boxes for tourists visiting my city and that would lead it full of typical sweets poblanos.
Thanks in advance for your comments.

Frank - what wood/thickness did you use? How did you join the corners? Are these painted?

Dear EIEIO:
I used pine plywood.
They are 6mm thick (1/4 ")
The joined using brackets for at an angle corners 90 ?
No, they are painted the corners, all the work has natural color without sealants or coatings, is a rustic finish.

Beautiful boxes Frank. I have been to your fair city, about 10-12 years ago, did an installation of seating risers at the Centro De Convenciones Puebla William O. Jenkins. Beautiful area.
