Bear arrowhead
« on: May 28, 2013, 10:17:14 am »
This was made using 3/4" basswood, it is about 14" x 12". I haven't figured out what to do with it as far as stain, laquer, background yet.
Me, my wood shop, and thousands of ideas,,,, Man what a life that would be!

That is a very nice piece.

IF it were mine...no stain, satin finish lacquer and dark brown felt glued to the back. Then drill 2 holes at the top side and hang with rawhide lacing.

I agree.  Clear satin finish with either  dark brown or black felt backer.  Nicely done.

There are very few and I would have not noticed if you had not called it to our attention!
With most of my portraits I do so darn many 'detail' cuts I didn't even notice the huge open cuts on this one!
