If you quit buying from the local BP station, you are hurting the independent owner more than BP.  He is just trying to make a living.  HE HAS NO RESPONSIBILITY in the oil leak.   

If anything, you might suggest that they change suppliers when their contract with BP is up.

I just get gas from wherever.  I can't be held responsible for the ways of the world. That would be a tremendous burden. Imagine having to buy only made in the USA.
