Tommy - your knives are very striking. You've mastered the eye appeal for sure with unusual material combinations. I like the antler-in-resin handles. I get what you mean about the pins and I may try to pin the scales on the #3 knife. That one is a different design with stainless guard and pins. I hope they finish as easily as the brass.

This knife is from KnifeKits.com. Thanks Tommy for the lead. It is a Drop Point Cub with brass guard. http://www.knifekits.com/vcom/product_info.php?cPath=2_389&products_id=4090.
Overall length is 6 5/8"; hollow ground blade length is 2 3/4". The handle is 1/4" Yucatan Rosewood finished with Feed-N-Wax. It has a brass lanyard hole. I skipped the handle pins; used epoxy to connect the handle.

The knife costs $11.95 each if you buy 2; the sheath is $6.95 ea. This is the 1st knife kit I've built. Can it sell for $40? I guess we'll see June 1st.

i was checking out the knife kits. was thinking giving it a try i noticed that your going to ask $40 for your knife.well 1 of those kits plus the sheath would cost me around $50 including the shipping.i got no handle material glue and your time to make the knife.so all this in consideration think that price is on the low side!

Newfie - I bought 2 of that kit at $11.95 each, and the sheath was $6.95. I used a left over piece of 1/4" Yucatan Rosewood that I had for the scales. My shipping was about $6 for standard shipping (USPS) to Ohio. I have since raised the sticker price to $50, but I'll see what happens when the sale comes. The second kit was finished with a different exotic wood so I added $5 ($55 sticker). These knives are small but feel very good in the hand. I think they will sell. Maybe in later markets I'll try a  higher price. You might see higher shipping if it was going out of the US.
