I had a little time Sunday,  so I made a pattern and cut it out of a slice of log.

great work,  do you find that a slice of log like that warps after it's cut?

Keefie, this was my first time using this type of wood.   I bought it already cut and packaged.  It was labeled to be used for wood-burning.  It seems quite dry, so I'm hoping that it won't warp in the future.   I've been using 1/8" and 1/4" baltic birch ply for portraits.   This wood is closer to 3/4" thick.  It cut very easy, but I think that going foward I'll widen the lines to compensate for the thicker wood.
