Double Swag Bowl

This is made from Mahogany, yellow heart and purple heart.  The purple heart doesn't show up very good, it seems to blend right in with the Mahogany.  This is another Carole Rothman design and pattern.

Thanks for Lookin'

Great job, how do you sand your bowls?

Great job, how do you sand your bowls?

Scott, I use the Guinevere Sanding System.  For the rough shaping and sanding I use the Wand.  It really does a great job!

That's the same thing I use, works great. With coarse grit it's almost a power carver!

Great looking bowl. I've made a few bowls and baskets and would like to try selling them at a local event. Can you say what you plan to charge for a bowl? It would be a big help to collect some of the going rates for sales of different items, at least as a starting point.
