Checkbook Box

A nephew saw the small playing card box and thought it would make a good box for his checkbook. This is cut from a pine 2x6 with 1/8" BB top and bottom. Inside dimension is 4"x7", outside is 5"x8". Walls are 1/4" thick.

Very nice Sir! is it possible to get a pattern as PINE is the only wood i get from used crates and surely would like to cut and give it as a gift to a friend- will appreciate a response.

Very nice ,beautiful contrast,You also captured a excellent illistration of edge grain curvitures and everone can see how that effects wood selection ,when laying out pieces for projects ,reguarding effects on blade cutting and natural twisting caused by grain direction, when glueing up to make up wider boards .best illistration I have seen ,cut that thin at both ends should have little effect ,nice job!!
