John and Ann Betar of Connecticut have just been named the longest married couple in the U.S.!
He's 101 and she's 97, and have been married 80 years.

It boggles my mind to think of all the history & technology they have seen.  [ It'll be 49 years for us this spring if she lets me live that long]

I just celebrated 5 years, 80 sounds like forever.

We are coming up for 42 and my daughters new boyfriend is the same age which is kind of weird and looking at him sure makes 42 years feel like a long time.
