The eagle is alittle tough to see, but it looks great.  The sun looks awesome!!

could be the angle the picture was taken at, but the eagle is a little hard to see, but it still looks fantastic.

I know ,Hard to look in to the sun ,and see anything clearly,thats why Eagles and hawks try to goe after thier pry with the sun behind them. Like I said was an experiment .I toned it down in the earlymorning piece ,I could not figure how to get the full sun effect and contrast on the Eagle .With out creating a
Oximoron in WOOD!   I do agree totally about the lack of contrast but for what its worth ,Thats Why!!

If you goe up to the top right hand corner of the screen ,cursor the gear set a 400+% ,you can see pretty well all the details .Hope that helps !

Nice work , if you had stained I think the  grain would probably make it stand out a bit more ....  but when I've done something like this in the past  it seemed like that the end grain always stained a little bit darker .You can see a razorback Bench { In the pictures on this site } routered in some Red Oak and I applyed several coats of stain just to the routered out place .Page 20 of the pictures ..Mb
