Family name sign
« on: February 17, 2013, 06:22:33 pm »
made this piece this weekend
I used 1/4 inch birch plywood for the background, stained with a cherry gel stain

next was the last name, cut from 1/4 inch oak plywood, left natural

the individual names were cut from 1/4 inch red oak, then I applied a dark stain.

once assembled, 3 or 4 coats of spray on poly.

this piece is approximately 15 inches long.  Just a neat piece, and fun to make
