« on: February 04, 2013, 04:50:18 am »
I made Steve's pattern luminary the one with a flower and night light inside it came out great. [Thanks Steve] Does anyone know where I can get some praying hands to put on the front instead of the flower? I am assuming its ok to modify the pattern its for a friend of mine. Tom

Golfman  If you google praying hands outline you will find many and I am sure one of then will be suitable.

Your post brings up another good question.  What are the guidelines about modifying patterns?  How do the pattern designers feel about this?

Speaking for myself only and not the other designers. I don't see a problem with someone modifying a pattern as long as they make note of it and still give the credit of the original and ask for permission from the designer before posting it. I know I for one do modify patterns all the time however, I never post the pattern and never take full credit for the pattern. Hope this helps.
