Great Project for wonderful cause!

Are you using 'spirals' throughout or using a mix of blade types.

That long cut along the edge of the table is going to be a real B**CH!

awesome project!!! great to see the WIP pictures,
looks a hard project such a long piece of wood.

doesn't the wood bend to the sides, as you started to cut in the middle?

i'm using spirals right now but i think i'm going to use other blade types for certain cuts.

yes it does that why in my second post of pic you see that i have a scrap piece of board clamped to it to help it from bending and i made a little stand to help also.

Thanks Newfie for showing how you are progressing thru this project.  It really help us understand how to go about doing something this size.

One thing I noticed I bet no one else did is the board in the background and how you have traced around each tool to quickly show where each tool hangs.  Great Idea!  Thanks for the idea.

here's where i'm at with the last supper roughly little over halfway through it.so far got 215 cuts done in 14 1/2 hours.around 180 more cuts to go.getting more comfortable using spiral blades now.

Wow....  One day I hope to display such work.   I  am at the stage where I am still building my skills and learning new techniques.  Work like this feeds our addiction.
