Paste floor Wax

hi i know a lot of you use Johnson Paste Wax on there saw table top.but i'm having the devils job finding paste wax of any brand up this way. is there anything else you can use in place of the paste wax?

I've heard you can use Bee's Wax too.  Is that available to you?

minwax makes a paste wax for wood aplications.

One more thing. Check out some of your local auto parts stores for it. Some still carry it since some car enthusiast like to use it.

That is what I use because it is what I have on hand, and it works fine. It is called Minwax Finishing Wax.

I have a can of Johnsons Paste Wax Dark. I use it to wax my tables. Works just fine. I have used it ocasionally on wood and it will darken it some. Picked up this can a  garage sale for cheap

If all you are doing is waxing your scroll saw table, it shouldn't make any difference.

I have some turtle wax I bought hope that works, I tried it seemed to help but wasn't real slick.

Newfie I do not use bees wax on my tool tables but I got a pound a while back directly from a local beekeeper.   Just a thought

I don't know if bees wax is good for waxing a cast iron table, but you can find it at any hardware store. Look in the plumbing section. Toilet wax rings ar made from bees wax!

you may find bees wax at a local hobby shop in the candle making section. you can use paraffin wax also work. You can buy that in the canning section of your local food store. I use teflon liquid that dries in a few seconds.A small bottle goes a long way. I coat my saw blades  and saw tables The also make a spray blade lube but it is cashy.
