I'm new to this and have fallen in love the range of stuff you can do, I am looking to buy my first scroll saw this Sunday 13th June.

I Have a 16" Macallister and a 16"Erbauer fitted quick release blade holders on both and they work great.......Paul

Ok so just a quick silly question - from the designers I understand we only cut out the black bits (right), so if that bit is cut out do you put a black board or something behind the pattern once it is complete? Cheers
