You would be better off with pinless blades if your saw will take this kind of blades, they are thinner can cut better curves and turns, and can drill smaller holes to insert the blade through. I tried pinned blades since its easier to put a blade in the saw but found real fast the hole has to be big, I did try to grind and remove the pin but then the blade breaks easy to as well. So I went to pinnless blades. The bundle from amazon sounds like a good deal if its true BB, You can get BB at other places, birch is also at hobby lobby and Micheals craft store. Most hardware stores carry birch I don't know if its true BB or not, but will still work if you look for voids, knots, or splits that have been patched.
