That's great Todd. Yeah when people walk up to me and say " hey did you carve that or hey did you widdle that" haha well I guess they don't know any different.

got the same trouble here only today someone seen some christmas ornaments i did and said to me nice carvings or whatever you call it. it kind of P's me off a little.

Yep. People at my school thinks scrolling is stupid. Then they see a video and say hey that looks really cool. I get a little P'd off because they say stuff and they haven't even seen my work.

Dustin  Wait until you have a table full of items at a show and several someones ask  Wow!  Did you carve all of that or worse What kind of laser do you use?   I go home with bite marks on my tounge!

Yea, I get the laser question all the time and I just say "I am a scroll artist, not a computer operator!"

Thanks for sharing that, Dustin.  I'm always surprised how many people don't even know what a scroll saw is.  They'll say that looks like a laser did that.  I guess that's a compliment.

Your welcome Moonie. Now a days CNC machines and other computer operated machines take all of the craftsmanship out of wood crafts. It gets mass produced and people make money buy pressing a button.
