Want to know why Amazon is so awesome to shop with? It's not their policy, but I emailed to ask anyways... and they are going to refund me the difference from what I paid last week and this lightening price, I'm getting $86 and some odd cents back! WOOHOO

Candi-D your da man...ooops I mean woman.  I showed my wife your post and (knowing I've been dreaming of this saw for months) she said "buy it!!  I argued for a good 2 seconds before caving in. I ordered it, it's on it's way and you are my favorite Santa's helper in the whole world...anyone need a well used Dremel??

Fantastic Price!  Now you need the light and the stand.  I think they both are well worth the extra money.....oh and the foot pedal is a must.  And, of course don't forget a nice Work Shop Apron.  If you are like me, you are going to need a nice swivel stool to sit on while you are working.  Might as well get the new IPod with speakers so you have relaxing music to listen to while you are being creative.  And, if you plan on doing much Fret work go and get that nice new Drill Press, it will come in handy!

My scrollsawing bill has gone through the ceiling!!!!!  HoHoHO!!!!  :)

Well I have another opinion ;)

For $50 more you can get the Delta scroll saw which includes light and stand PLUS it has a five year warranty. According to the reviews it is very similar to the DeWalt 788.

When my DeWalt 788 wears out I will probably buy the Delta.
