Sled
« on: December 07, 2012, 10:33:59 am »
Yesterday they for-casted 5" of snow for today, so we started yesterday to build a sled.
had no plan so it took us a little longer but it's finished.
did the build together with two of my daughters. we had a great time together!

3/8" hardwood ply
1" pine for the glider
5/32" iron strip
and on top slats from a bed bottom

and now waiting if it's strong enough.....

Brilliant Job. Looks like they enjoyed helping you make it and probably can't wait to test it, but tell them to put some shoes and socks on or they will get cold feet lol.
