Enlarging Pattern
« on: June 07, 2010, 05:07:28 pm »
Steve I need help enlarging patterns made on your scrollsaw pattern maker. I can enlarge the letter sizes while in the pattern but when I print they all come out the same size. I am so computer illiterate it's frightening. Hope I have made the question clear.

Thanks, Gary

Just use the little slider bar and slide it over.  When you have the name typed in click on print (the little printer icon).

Mike, I can enlarge the pattern while in the pattern maker. It is when I print it that it comes out the same size regardless of the size it is in the pattern.

I believe you are right. It does have issues with some printers.  8)

Thanks for the info, I didn't remember the printer issue. I guess I have one it doesn't get along with in terms of the size issue.

Hi Gary, that is correct. It will not work with all printers. Sometimes you can get around the problem by changing the print mode in your print driver. It's a little geeky to explain but the printer needs to print to 600 dpi.
