If you have noticed I have changed my avatar several times. I am still trying to decide which one I want to use. The current avatar is a picture of me from the 80's.........Never did like getting my picture taken. I use to hold my hand in front of my face to hide when I was a lot younger....about 50 years ago. I do not have a good picture of myself.
With age things change and  Like everything else it goes further south for the winter............My six pack has turned into a keg......my hair is sliding down my back.....................my eye sight grows weaker except for the young girls (ok! ok! 18 and older young ladies)....................and I forget the rest.
As I grow older I have changed my life style. I quit smoking, I quit swearing, I quit drinking and my wife has given up sex for me so I have no vises left. ................So I can say without batting a eye that scroll sawing is better than sex.

King I say use what ever you are comfortable with. Seems like all the things you have going south are contagious.  A friend told me they are all caused by birthday cake!

Be careful about giving up those vices!  You could be like the guy in the Mark Twain story.  Twain went to visit a sick friend and told him , "you need to quit drinking".  The reply was "I gave up drinking a long time ago".

Playing pool keeps me cussin,
I sneak a drink now and then to keep lubricated otherwise I'd rust solid,
and hugging the pretty girls every chance I get keeps my ticker going.

King, just get yourself the coolest photo that you like, doesn't even have to be of you. Maybe just represent something you enjoy. I was a great fan of the westerns growing up and got to go to Saturday Matinee, my favorite was Old Gabby Hayes silly as he was, and I've become about as silly. On top of that he and I are WESTERN and carried six shooters, what more could I ask for as an avatar.

Somehow I put that dumb cat on as an avatar and I don't know how.  Now I can't get rid of it and put a better one on.  Oh well, that life (and I don't even like cats)

Well with all your "afflictions" you are at least in the right place, just about everyone here has at least one of those problems. As for the avatar every week put up a younger picture of yourself...keep everyone wondering

Simple click on your name, then when that page opens click on profile, and follow the prompts from there. You do have to be able to reduce the size of the image before uploading. but you should be able to do that if you have posted photos on the forum before.
