stupid mistake

I made a stupid mistake today,come to think of it, have you ever heard of anyone making a clever mistake.

A clever mistake is just called sheer genius. Think of all the clever mistakes that have made people rich and famous. Ivory soap is the only floating soap simply because someone made a mistake and left a blender in the soap mix too long. That caused air to enter into the soap allowing it to float. In 1894 a man named John Kellogg was working on making better dietary bread. He left the mixture waiting too long and it became stale. He put that stale mixture through a roller and out came flaky cereal. All clever mistakes are sheer genius.

A stupid mistake would be Edison not recognizing he had invented the light bulb; not recognizing he had invented motion pictures or the phongraph; and thinking that DC was the way to distribute power over long distances. Even the great ones sometimes fumble!

OK Keefie, you asked, and I'm embarrassed to admit it. Replaced the blade on the band saw, very intent on showing Grandson how it's done. Wouldn't cut your finger never wood. Blade on BACK TO FRONT! DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH.  .

There is no such thing as a stupid mistake. Just like you are not speeding until the cops haul you in and tell you or it is not a crime until someone catches you doing something you are not supposed to be doing.  Rob you created a lot of discussion, was that a mistake toooooo.
