Banjo Stand
« on: November 17, 2012, 01:09:34 pm »
I made this not too long ago. I was looking online at some banjo stands and found some ideas. One on there was this design, but for $200! I made this out of pine and used a propane torch to give it a unique look for free. I used my scroll saw to make some music notes in the bottom of it, which you can't really see from these pictures. Hope ya'll like it!

Thanks Todd, yeah I play, but I'm not very good. I made this one night in my shop when I was bored. It only took about two days to make. I'm sure if you modify it a bit,  a guitar would look good on it. If you make one, I love to see it when it is done.

Very nicely done project Dustin.  Goes to show you that a lot of the things we buy for a fair amount of cash can be made, as long as we have the thought that we can actually do it.  Thanks for sharing this with us.

What a nice project. Thanks for showing not just it, but the banjo that it holds. It looks super. Do you play the banjo or is that for someone else? Good work and thanks for sharing.
