Hot Wheels Christmas
« on: November 15, 2012, 06:42:30 pm »
This is a Christmas scene my wife puts out every year with all the Christmas stuff. She came to me and asked if I could make a new scene for her out of wood. I said yea I sure can. (That means cave time). I used some leftover ply form some new closets I put in for the store and roof. Then painted (yes I have a room dedicated to just Hot Wheels), (Yes it is blue and orange and has Hot wheel blue carpet). The letters are cut from thin oak scraps (because I like cutting oak and have a lot of scraps). I tried to paint the letters like the hot wheel logo as close as I could. She will put it up soon and I?ll take another picture of it loaded with cars. The last picture is the old one. I threw in the picture of the dew for countryscroller. Thanks for looking and enjoy.

Very cool, takes me back to my youth. Had a bunch of Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars. Matchbox for driving around town and Hot Wheels for the race track. Thanks for sharing.
