Need some help

A friend asked me to cut this portrait in wood. I have played around with GIMP, but I'm just not getting it right. Could someone convert this photo for me. I would really appreciate it.

I'm no pattern maker but that looks like a tough one since there is very little High Contrast present...that might be why you are having trouble!

Thanks guys!! That should work for me. I will cut them both and see which one my friend likes better. They are both good
