Merlin, I will sell tickets at ?1 per strip and hopefully make enough to cover the costs. The last santa I made was done in oak and finished in blo/thinners and then 2 coats of lacquer (see pic at http://stevedgood.com/community/index.php?topic=11148.0 ) I made one for the girlfriend, but showed it in a shop first and the bloke ordered 2 at ?38 each which was nice. Assuming I sell enough tickets I will take my costs out then rest is to be donated to the "Cornwall Air Ambulance" so I hope to sell loads of tickets.
