Wolf Head
« on: October 05, 2012, 09:06:48 pm »
Well, thanks go out to a few people for this one. Crusty59 did one and I just had to give it a try. I used twine instead of leather to hole the portrait to the frame. Leather just wasn't cooperating. I also put a backer board and made the head a little smaller. I'm pretty satisfied with it. Comments and critiques welcome.

Really nice looking Dan.  I personally prefer the look of leather, but I know the twine is a LOT easier to obtain and work with.   I like the frame as well, very nice looking.

Well Done Dan, now I am going to want to do one as well, just have to locate the pattern.  Thanks for sharing with us.

Excellent work, love the frame too. But I agree with Al W that I prefer the look of leather rather than twine. But as he also said Leather is a lot harder to work with.
