here's my duck plate.
duck and leaves are BB, the wreath is a oak ply.
leafs are darkened with oak stain.
finished with clear lacker.
the stand is Sheila's design, just to small.....

Wow, the plate looks beautiful! Yes, I would think it would require a bigger stand. Enlarging it was a good idea.
