107 Degrees Heat
« on: September 04, 2012, 05:06:28 pm »
Man, thought fall weather was supposed to be here in September!?? It reached 107 here in NE Texas yesterday and I was sitting in the heat watching my grandaughter play college soccer! Didn't check today but must have been at least same or hotter. Went out to woodshop and couldn't stay; just too blame hot! Ready for cooler weather!!

Yep...that is a cool day here in Phoenix...lol you know I am just kidding there. Hot is hot and 107 isn't much fun to be working in. Hope to see cooler weather here soon too.

Hi Toneman, you should be here in the West of Scotland. You would be able to work in your shop no problem. 66F or 17C, probably too cold for you LOL. Hope it gets cooler for you.

Sounds nice...but when you work outside a window air doesnt help much. The good thing about working here in Arizona is we have many good weather days through most the year. So, I can deal with the heat for a few months. Right now I work off my back porch outside.

Well, I guess I have it a lot better than I thought!  :o  I have an enclosed shop, and for the most part, I just live in it.  ;D
Not only do I have a window air conditioner, I have an electric heater (it gets cold in Kansas too), a flat screen TV, a beer box, a laptop computer (this one) a desk, a bench and all my tools with in easy reach.  ;) Friends drop by for coffee or a beer and just shoot the wind quite often.  :)
Retirement is wonderful!!  :D :D :D
