I have read a lot about blade clamps, but what I want to know is can I use hegner knop1 clamps both top and bottom?

If you are talking about the big round knob, it will not fit on the bottom clamp.
You could contact the Hegner dealer in the UK.

Mike is right, there is not enough space under the table for a knob.
not the black star and not the round aluminum.
it will hit with the black plastic dust cap
does make a lot of noice......
... I heard it for someone in know.....
