Well I managed to take the plunge from MDF/Balsa/Ply to proper wood ;) 

This is a little picture of my son..  Nice Piece of Ash - finished with pure Oil...  Beeswax finish to complete then Buff the billio outta it ;)

That came out great! The wood sure adds character to the piece!
Make sure you sign and date it on the back.

Very nice.  and to think you started the pattern, got a few tweaks and then you cut it. Bet the piece is one you will not forget. Gotta love this forum.
