A while back I sent out an ungent request for help on a pattern to honor a fallen officer. Needless to say I had to hand draw it myself. This plaque is far from perfect but it was received by the officers Mother with tears on both our parts. The story about Josh is that he had gone to talk to a man about messing with teenage girls, no arrest intended. Josh stepped out of his car and rounded the front of his car where he was shot down. He died about an hour later. Josh was 26 yrs old and all he wanted to be was a police officer. He served out community from age 18 till his death. Not only is his Mother suffering but his wife as well. I'd like to thank those that commented and showed their support, Toneman, Keefie, Tomsunnu and 2 more that my horrible memory fails to supply.
