Snowflake Prototype
«

Made this snowflake prototype yesterday from a pattern I made, it is a slotted ornament made from 1/8" BB ply. Measures 3.5" x 3.5". What do you think? How would you finish it? I stink at painting. I'm not trying to rush into winter yet though. Give me some feedback. Thanks as always.

Way cool, Smitty!!!!
I forgot to post that I would give them a light spray of paint. I wouldn't go too heavy so that you can still fit them together. They even have spray paint that has a glittery effect that would look nice as was said below.

Very cool Dan! I agree with the glitter spray paint. You can find it at craft stores.

Great pattern! I personally don't use glitter on any of my projects. Yeah it looks neat but only for a short time... then you end up with more glitter on you and the surrounding area than the project
. I would leave most natural and if I would paint them I would just use a light wash so the grain still shows.

Nice job. Snow is white, yours is white, what's the problem? Leave it alone?

Looks white in the pic, it is just plain ole BB ply. Thanks to all for all the advice on how to finish.

I like wood and the grain patterns so I would likely just hit it with some satin spray lacquer and that's all....
Nice Patterns!
