Another Project Cut
« on: July 25, 2012, 02:34:39 pm »
I just finished cutting another project (With a lot of "breath holding" during the cutting lol). It's a Celtic Cross with Dragons. It still needs sanding and a finish put on it, at the minute it's just sitting on a black card. I stacked cut three out of 4mm Birch ply. I made the mistake of sticking them together for cutting using masking tape around the edge of the stack, and when I was cutting near the edge the tape was coming off the underside and sticking to the table so it stopped sliding and left sticky residue over the table. I had to cut a little bit then remove the loose tape and put another bit over the remaining tape it to stop it catching, and clean the table each time. I will be looking at a different method of holding the stack together next time.
Hope you like it.
Keith

Great Job!!! Must have been frustrating with the tape problem.  I use a speck of glue in the big waste areas.
