I am all for cocealed carry, but I dont think some one with a concealed weapon in a crowded theater with people running every which way in a panic is a good idea.  MOst poeple that carry guns do not practice enough to keep their skills sharp.  If a shooter goes as little as 2 weeks without shooting they start to lose their edge.  The best trained military shoot on a weekly basis.  Look at a SWAT member who shoots on a regular basis versus a regular cop that shoots maybe once a month.  The skill is evident in the targets shot.
There are few exceptions if you watch the FL video the old man in the video has had some serious training and practices.  He pulled his gun and held it with both hands and sighted his target before he fired.  He kept his knees bent and kept a smooth posture as he advanvced on the assailants.  He was not your average citizen carrying a gun.

Jonathon was flown home to Reno yesterday.  The Nav y had an Honor Guard escort the casket to the air port and the Patriot Gaurd was present as well.  When he arrived in Reno there was a Navy Honor Gaurd present and I was told 400 Patriot Gaurd members were there to escort his body to the funeral home.   He got what he really wanted, he wanted to be a Hero and he is and he is being treated like one.
