Heat Wave
« on: July 02, 2012, 11:22:21 pm »
If anyone is cold, I'll send them some warm weather.  It hit 103 degrees with 71% humidity today here in Iowa.  Almost to hot to work in the garage.  Just thought I would let you all know what kind of weather we are haveing here.

Sitting across the border to your west, I feel your heat, and pain.  We just missed three digits on the temp, but the humidity was running neck and neck.

I can work as long as I open the doors in the morning, get it cooled down as much as possible, then keep them closed for the rest of the day.

Would sure be a lot nicer if the morning temps would drop back into the 60's and 50's.

Work safely.

Here to your south, we are having the same heat but without the humidity.  Actually saw it drop below 20% which is unheard of here.  If we don't get some rain before long may not make any difference as everything is drying up.

Hey Kepy,  I hear what you are saying.  The corn and beans really need the rain or I think the yeild will be really low.
