How HOT is it in your Back Yard? :+}
« on: July 01, 2012, 04:10:28 pm »
Here in Huntsville, Alabama this is the 4th day of HIGH temps. between
103 and 106....  Whew!  Even the birds stand there with their beeks wide open.
My shop is cooled with 3 fans and the temp. gauge in the afternoon has read over 100 each day.  But with the 3 fans going wide open its bearable to enjoy making saw dust.  Anway  Haven't noticed many new posts in the last few days, so this maybe will get things going.  Danny  :+}

St. Louis Lambert Airport reporting currently 103? & 31% humidity....forecast calls for temps in the 100's all week!
No rain in sight for the next 5-7 days.
Most communities are canceling or postponing 4th Fireworks due to extreme dry conditions. Big show on our riverfront will go on as scheduled but too darn hot down there with 150,000 people and mostly concrete and asphalt....

Many communities are also starting to issue water usage restrictions due to the dryness and the water table is dropping due to lack of rain.

"A Capitol Fourth" on PBS seems in order...

93 degrees and humid in central PA.   They suggest older folks stay where it's cool. So, I made saw dust all day  in my nice cool shop.   :D

9:20 a.m. - temp 84? on way to a cool day of only 99? today BUT the humidity is up to 55% already.

Another good day to stay out of the garage...lots of patterns being researched and applied to precut wood (that I can do inside!)

Stay Cool out there folks!

It's 56 in the Seattle area, and forecast is to get to 66 later today and up to 72 by Thursday.  Humidity of 73% right now.

Sorry, just had to tell you!  But I moved here from Detroit, so I know what it's like to live where it's hot and humid.
