No problem dgman, If I had my head screwed on right I should have thought of that myself. It is cut out of 6mm Birch Ply BB grade (no defects or knots in it) I think it's the same as your Baltic Birch Ply. I have used 2 blades, a number 1 and number 3 both are Flying Dutchman Ultra reverse. (I have tried the spiral blades, but I can't get on with them, I cant get nice crisp clean corners with them and If there is a cut that comes to a fine point then they too big for it.) The pattern was a lot bigger than I thought when I bought it, when printed it comes out on 4 sheets of A4 which then need to be trimmed so the lines match up. Being an Irish design, I will be putting a green backer on it, but have yet to decide what type of backer so any thoughts welcome on that. Hope this helps, but remember all you learners, never be afraid to try something like this, all you need to remember is it's the same as the small patterns you have all been cutting so well, it's not any harder, just a few more cuts. Just take it steady and one cut at a time and you will get there.
