East Pool Mine Engine House

My latest work (thanks to "Grampa Paul" for making me the pattern) finished with BLO / Thinners and then 2 coats of lacquer. I have also attatched a picture of the engine house for your comparison.

The engine houses were massive beam engine water pumps to keep the underground mines from flooding ( some mines in Cornwall are over 300feet deep and extend under the seabed so were prone to flooding)

Half the success of a project turning out better than average is selecting the right materials and you did a exceptional job.

A great job of scrolling and an even cooler story.  I am not brave enough to go down in a mine.  Seeing the huge pump would not make me feel any better.    Just the opposite.
