Hi Brummie, welcome to the forum.  I believe the author's name of the scrolling magazine you have, is Patrick Spielman. I have several of his books and all of them are very informative.

Sorry to say he passed away a few years ago; however many of the books on scrolling and other woodworking topics are still in print.

Hi Brummie, I'm Marg from Australia, but at the moment I'm in West Bromwich where I was born.  I'm only here for another couple of weeks so do you think you could order some good weather for us, we have only had one really sunny/warm day since we arrived.  LOL  Take care our kid.

Hey Brummie, for what it is worth, I am Troy from Phoenix AZ. I am probably the newest woodworker on the forum. Got my first saw for Christmas and have just recently really started making things. This site is very good for information and already I feel I have made a few good friends.
